VeriVolt Z32 Compliance System

The VeriVolt platform isn’t just about meeting CSA Z32 requirements — it’s about delivering peace of mind. Built around the same principles used to prove the integrity of electrical systems in healthcare environments, VeriVolt sets a new standard for confidence, documentation, repeatability and scalability in electrical testing for our client.

The current VeriVolt Test System (V1.33x) is made up of three parts:

1. VeriVolt GPR - Is a grab and go tester for routine receptacle swaps to handle polarity and ground path return (voltage rise) verifications, and is also a control interface the add-on VeriVolt LB below.
2. VeriVolt LB - This is a separate load bank unit which can be connected to the GPR control unit to perform voltage drop tests required for Z32 testing in new builds, renovations, or when circuits in patient care areas have been altered.
3. Nexus Lite Database App  - A cross platform data tracking application designed to enhance speed, accuracy and scalability of testing records for new installations, renovations, and routine maintenance of healthcare facilities across Canada.

The overall system was designed to accommodate healthcare electrical systems entirely, from routine receptacle swaps, to any scale of new installation or renovations.

Version 1.30

• Added onboard metering, display and high bitrate data sampling with test automation.

Version 1.31

• Improved speed of test sequencing and data averaging.

Version 1.32

• Minor improvements to onboard metering and averaging speed.

Version 1.33x (Ongoing development)

• Reduced system ramp time.
• Improved machine control, simplified test result display.
• Added audible feedback.
• App upgrades for faster data processing and reporting.

Firmware and hardware advancements will continue to be tested and deployed, three models are currently planned, all three will contain similar hardware, and allow our client to continually enhance their Z32 program with minimal downtime for calibration intervals, and allow for rapid improvements compared to traditionally available Z32 test equipment:

• Version 1.3 has become a rapid developing proving ground for automation, data reliability, processing integrating reporting dependencies for their Z32 testing program.
• Version 2.0: All the best parts of Version 1 are currently being integrated in a new form factor to meet the client's demands.
• Version 1.4: Once version 2 has been constructed, Version 1 will be upgraded to match latest developments, essentially a miniaturized version of V2.0. This unit, we are told, will be preserved as a fully functional "original model". 
• Version 3: Version 1.4 is a precursor to version 3, which will be a more refined, condensed and optimized version of 1.4.
